Profession Idea: Beastmaster
First, let's replace the ranger's beast mastery with "Trapping"
Trapping -
Existing Skills -
Spike Trap (E)
Barbed Trap
Flame Trap
Dust Trap
Healing Spring
Viper's Nest--etc.
Skill Ideas -
Burst of Thorns {E}: Trap. When triggered, foe and all adjacent foes suffer 4...13 damage per second for 7 seconds. This skill is easily interrupted, and lasts for (90) seconds
Quicksand: Trap. Foes walking on this trap move 60% slower. This skill is easily interrupted and lasts for 50...120 seconds.
Focus Signet: Signet. Your next 1...5 traps are not easily interrupted (Recharge: 120 seconds)
Connection Trap: Trap. When triggered, foes above connection trap suffer 8...25 damage. Connection traps will not activate until the next time you attack. This action is easily interrupted and lasts 90 seconds
(All connection traps you have set up will be activated by your next attack.)
[Recharge: 2 seconds]
Trail of Thorns: Stance. For 15 seconds, foes take 5...8 damage for each step they are chasing you.
[Recharge: 30]
Healing Soil Trap. When triggered by ally, that ally is healed for 60...120 health. This action is easily interrupted and heals for 1...4 times.

I don't think ANET is going to change an existing class's skill trees. It's highly unpractical. However that doesn't mean that a beastmaster wouldn't work. It would just share qualities with the ranger beast mastery tree.

Yea there not gonna change attributes, its for balance sakes, and trapping is already strong, making traps an entire attribute would over power rangers to no level..., and beast masters getting there own class would over power them WAY tomuch

/unsigned. Im sorry I want the beastmaster Rangers have fixed not changed. An actual beastmaster profession at this moment would be out of place. However IF Anet feels they can change it they will. But I believe they wont because it is unpractical after almost a year of rangers having their skill tree as it is.

Can we dress up in loin cloth and have two ferret as pet?
I do think changing the beastmastery attribute out with ranger's to make room for a beast master class is cleaver. But still would not endorse it. (but would be interstered to see how you would build such class)

A ranger already has these things. Unfortunately beastmastery for a ranger is just not useful enough. I suggest be a pure beastmaster. Because for a half decent bm you need more than half the skill bar -.-
so most be for bm are ?/r for ranger secondary bm.
They still need to fix the damn pet AI.

Why not just buff the Beastmastery skills for the Ranger? Also, adding 2 Tame Animal skills would help (2 pets at once!)
